Our history
Established in 1985, the Zimbabwe Chemicals, Plastics, and Allied Workers Union has a rich history of advocating for workers’ rights and promoting their well-being. Over the years, we have successfully represented countless workers, fought for fair wages, improved working conditions, and provided invaluable support to our members.
Our Mission
We are committed to protecting and promoting the interests of our members by advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and ensuring their voices are heard in matters affecting their employment. We strive to foster a strong sense of solidarity among workers in our industries and empower them to create positive change.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a workplace where every worker in the chemical, plastics, and allied industries is respected, protected, and empowered. We envision an industry where workers have a strong voice, fair treatment, and access to opportunities for growth and development.
Our Objectives:
- To promote and advance the best interests of its members and other stakeholders.
- To promote gender equality at workplace.
- To promote health and safe working conditions in the workplace.
